The much anticipated Darna Zaroori Hai comes with dose of six horror tales with an undercurrent of humour to it. Albeit the bonfire this time, this one comes with an old woman sharing stories with a group of kids. One such story revolves around Amitabh Bachchan who plays a psychic professor and Riteish Deshmukh, his student. The others include include Makarand Deshpande and Bipasha Basu, who play a couple and their encounter with Arjun Rampal. Then you have Rajpal Yadav playing an insurance salesman in one of the stories, and the dilemma Anil Kapoor, who plays a filmmaker, finds himself in, en route Khandala in another.
Quite an ensemble of tales this one calls for, and is technically a well made film. But unlike Darna Mana Hai, this one comes with more humour than horror in the stories, and it should find appreciation universally. Performance-wise, as the film has a plethora of actors, the performances are definitely worth a mention. We’d say catch this one!
