Rati Agnihotri

Rati Agnihotri started her carrier as a child model at the age of ten. At the age of sixteen, she started working in the Indian film industry with her first film, Ek Dujje Ke Liye being a block buster. She has acted in over 175 films till date in 9 different languages. Her recent films include 'Hum Tum' (directed by Kunal Kohli) and 'Yaadein' (directed by Subhash Ghai). Besides films she actively participates in social causes such as AIDS and cancer related causes. A multifaceted personality who does not believe in restricting her creativity just to films, has recently opened two highly exclusive boutique stores in the city of Pune. These stores contain carefully handpicked artifacts as well as a wide array of candles, clothes and glassware made solely by her. The stores have been a runaway success adding yet another feather in her illustrious cap achievements. Recently she ventured into the world of theatre. A field that is similar and yet vastly different from the movies. 'Love Hua' and 'Please Divorce Me Darling' are her 2 plays that she has worked. A true actor is one who can perform on any platform. This aptly describes Rati Agnihotri whose shows emerged a roaring success both domestically as well as internationally. She has just completed an English film 'Karma, Confessions & Holi' made by the daughter of legendary Hollywood superstar, Robert de Nero. The film stars Sushmita Sen and is currently in post production stage. But her greatest achievement by far has been how she has beautifully managed to balance her personal and professional lives with 'lan. She is a home maker in every sense of the word and a proud mother of a twenty year old son. Yet, after having achieved so much one feels she has miles and miles to go, higher goals to accomplish before she rests.
